musically speaking, it goes: mom singing show tunes to me > mid 70's East Texas A.M. radio on top of the fridge (a little bit of Willie Nelson, a little bit of Motown) > Kiss, Led Zeppelin, and Ted Nugent hand me down records from my cousins > the Beach Boys > early 80s hard rock/hair metal > punk rock > speed metal > industrial > New Order > Madchester/baggy > acid house > rave hardcore > ragga breaks > dancehall > dub > deep house > jungle > minimal techno > dubstep >>> at various points there were excursions into ambient, hip hop, disco, and so forth. after awhile it really all blurs together.   we've had some times, that's for sure.
