MONOLAKE US TOUR CANCELLATION

Greetings from mother Earth sound system!
As some of you may have noticed, our headlining live performer at Wobble changed recently from Monolake to Richard Devine. What follows is the email we received directly from Robert Henke (Monolake) explaining why he was cancelling the remainder of his US tour.

Dear Wallace,

Monolake here.

I have a serious problem with my ears. It has gotten so bad that I've finally decided to cancel the rest of the tour. I have always suffered from tinnitus, but I've always somehow managed to deal with it. Unfortunately, in the past month it's gotten much worse. I have had less and less fun performing and I'm more and more afraid to go to loud places.

I had two fantastic concerts on this tour, one in LA and one in San Francisco. But each time my ears got worse, despite the fact that my sets have not been very loud. I am extremely scared by this development and this is why I've decided to write you this letter and announce that I cannot continue the tour.

Please be assured that this step makes me feel very bad since I generally enjoy performing and I know that all of you have done the best to make the tour a success for everyone. But I also feel some relief due to my decision.

So once again, my apologies for the way things have gone.

For any details and further questions, please talk to Heike, since I will be off e-mail the next few weeks.

Yours, Robert Henke
